The Academy’s COVID-19 Response
The Academy’s leading health system and industry members are at the epicenter of the national COVID-19 response. Whether through the provision of care, supplies, technology, or service, leaders at these organizations are steering our healthcare system through an unprecedented challenge. To lend support, The Academy has sought to activate the full power of its peer network. So far, we’ve pursued the following:
- Hosting a series of weekly virtual Town Hall and Briefing calls to allow for real time sharing and problem solving among our members.
- Publishing research briefs, podcasts, and other deliverables around key topic areas such as contingency planning, screening and testing, capacity planning, clinical labor management, and PPE and supply readiness
- Launching a COVID-19 Resource Center to provide one-stop access to educational content, national guidelines and practical tools to support preparation and response. All materials are sourced from governmental organizations, Leading Health Systems, and progressive industry partners.
